Roofing in Omaha & Lincoln
Durable roofing systems built for Nebraska hail country, installed to manufacturer spec.
Roofing done the Paragon way
A roof in eastern Nebraska or western Iowa has a harder job than a roof almost anywhere else. Hail most summers, ice dams most winters, and straight-line wind whenever it feels like it. Most of the roofs we replace did not wear out. They got beaten up. So we build for that: heavier shingles, proper ice-and-water shield along every eave and valley, ventilation that actually moves air, and flashing that is bent on site to fit your house instead of pulled out of a box.
We install Owens Corning Duration and CertainTeed Landmark ClimateFlex shingles. Both lines are available in Class 4 impact-rated versions, which is the highest rating there is for hail, and some insurers give a premium discount for it. We will tell you whether the upgrade makes sense for your house instead of assuming it does.
Every roof starts the same way: someone from our team gets on it, takes photos, and writes up what they found. You keep the report whether you hire us or not. If a storm did the damage, that same report becomes the backbone of your insurance claim, and we meet the adjuster at your house so nothing gets argued about later.
Signs it is time
When to call about roofing
Hail hit your neighborhood
Bruised shingles do not always leak right away. They lose granules, then they fail. A free inspection after a storm tells you where you stand while a claim is still easy to file.
Granules in the gutters
Shingle grit collecting at the downspouts means the protective surface is wearing off and the asphalt underneath is next.
Curling, cupping or missing shingles
Once shingles start lifting at the edges, wind gets under them and takes the rest. This is the point where a repair still works.
Stains on the ceiling
A water mark upstairs usually means the leak has been going on for a while. Flashing around chimneys, vents and valleys is the usual suspect.
The roof is 15 to 20 years old
Standard shingles in this climate rarely make the number on the package. Knowing where yours is saves you from an emergency replacement in January.
You are selling or buying
A roof inspection with a photo report takes the roof off the negotiating table, one way or the other.

Tear-off to the deck, decking repairs where needed, ice-and-water shield, synthetic underlayment, new pipe boots and flashing, ridge ventilation, and the shingle.
